Our Vision
To provide an avenue for surfers of all ages and their families to participate in an organised social group of beach lovers who seek and enjoy a fun, fit and healthy lifestyle whilst pursuing their passion for boardriding excellence within the true spirit of friendship and competition.
To foster traditional family values, ideals, community interaction, involvement and camaraderie amongst its members whilst providing a platform for completion and a support base for members to launch their own surfing careers.

History
MNM Boardriders are a family orientated community surfing club located on the Gold Coast.
MNM Boardriders Club was established in June 1992, filling the void left by the old Miami board riders club but taking in the larger area from Mermaid Beach through to Miami. Conceived by Founding President Tim O’Leary and Justin Kleeman, the club was well received by the local community and well supported by local business and by end 1993 finished the year with around 100 members.
By 1995 the club was turning in some great results in teams’ events and individual title wins, with 2nd place in the Kirra Teams’ Challenge, great results by individual surfers winning the Gold Coast Open Titles in 1995 and 1996 and with the Club winning the Queensland Open Title for 3 years consecutive years from 1996 to 1998. These major title victories greatly enhanced the Mermaid Nobby’s Miami Boardriders Club Competitive profile and formed the foundation for further growth and expansion of the Club’s membership and standing in the Queensland Surfing Community.
MNM Boardriders Club prides itself as a family oriented club built on solid community, family and competitive values and ideals with good grass roots support and camaraderie amongst its members. It is a Club that is recognised and respected across the surfing community.
In recent years under the stewardship of successive Presidents, Mal Chalmers and David Pirie, the Club has strengthened its organisational structure, grown in numbers and focused on its interaction with the local community. The Club continues to compete in all major surfing events on the calendar.
